World News Cocaine Worth $8.4 Million Found Hidden in Shipment of Kim Kardashian’s Skims Underwear by Sophia Lane May 20, 2026 written by Sophia Lane May 20, 2026 0 comments 721 A massive drug bust in the United Kingdom has gone viral online after authorities discovered millions of dollars worth of cocaine hidden inside a truck transporting products from Skims, the fashion brand co-founded by Kim Kardashian. According to British investigators, the seizure took place at the Port of Harwich in Essex after UK Border Force officers stopped a heavy goods vehicle arriving from the Netherlands. The truck was being driven by a 40-year-old Polish man identified as Jakub Jan Konkel. Officials said the vehicle was transporting 28 pallets of legitimate Skims clothing and underwear products when officers decided to inspect it further using X-ray scanning equipment. During the search, authorities reportedly uncovered a specially modified hidden compartment built directly into the rear trailer doors. Inside the concealed area, officers allegedly discovered 90 individually wrapped packages containing cocaine. The drugs weighed approximately 198 pounds (around 90 kilograms), with investigators estimating a street value of roughly $8.4 million. The UK’s National Crime Agency later clarified that the shipment of Skims apparel itself was completely legitimate and that neither the company nor Kim Kardashian had any involvement in the smuggling operation. Investigators believe the drugs were added separately during the journey. According to reports, the driver is suspected of making an undeclared 16-minute stop before boarding the ferry to the UK, where authorities think the illicit cargo may have been loaded into the modified compartment. The case quickly exploded online because viral posts and edited graphics heavily featured Kardashian alongside headlines about the cocaine seizure, leading many social media users to mistakenly believe the celebrity entrepreneur or her brand were connected to the trafficking scheme. However, officials stressed that Skims products were simply being used as cover cargo inside the truck. The investigation remains ongoing, while the driver faces serious drug trafficking charges under UK law.
